Job Title: Head of Adult Programs, Publicity and Marketing Part Time
The Mendham Borough Library is seeking a friendly, outgoing, organized customer service oriented person to join our creative and dedicated team as Head of Adult Programs, Publicity and Marketing. The individual in this position will plan, promote and host special library programs each month. In addition, the candidate will create, publicize and market all library programs through a variety of outlets. This person is also responsible for the Fletcher Gallery, ensuring the library has a new art display each month. This individual will work very closely with the public, volunteers, and staff and will report to the director. At times, the individual will be asked to work on additional projects and programs with the library director. Computer skills including Word and Excel are a must, and knowledge of Canva is a plus. The individual who we hire will need to be outgoing, efficient, able to follow directions, a team player, work independently and accurately, demonstrate flexibility and reliability, maintain and stay within a budget, and be a good problem-solver. Hours for this job will be flexible, but will include some daytime and evening hours at the library for a total of 6 hours per week. The salary range for this position will be $18-$20 per hour depending upon experience.
