More Features, More Fun
cloudLibrary is providing more features on their app
March 1, 2019
Cedar Knolls, NJ – cloudLibrary by Bibliotheca has updated their eBook and eAudio platform to provide the best and most user friendly experience possible. The new update allows patrons to personalize their digital experience, use a virtual library card, add multiple accounts to their app, and more. Patrons are able to personalize their digital experience by customizing which genres they would like to see on their shelves. Advanced filtering allows patrons to sort by publication date, author, title, recent additions, or rating. Saving titles for future browsing is as easy as adding to your favorites.
Patrons now have instant access to their virtual library card allowing them to always leave the house without it. Virtual library cards can be used at both self-checkout stations and checkout desks. Patrons are also able to add multiple library cards to their app. This feature is perfect for patrons that have young children!
Lesley Karczewski, Chester Public Library Director, commented that, “The library’s goal is always to provide our patrons with reading material in whatever format they want to use. While we’ve had downloadable ebooks and audiobooks available through the library for quite some time now, we’ve recently improved the ability to find and check out downloadable content in the library catalog. This makes it so much easier for our patrons to find what they are looking for without having to check multiple locations.”
Library users can download the app free of charge anywhere at any time in their preferred app store. Once the app is installed to a device such as a cell phone, there is a simple, one‐time sign in process which includes selecting the user’s local library followed by entering the library card barcode number. Users can browse titles in less than a minute. Content is stored on the device itself, meaning no data charges are incurred while reading or listening after the download is complete. Don’t blindly believe the hype, try it out for yourself and download the app on any mobile device.
