Part-Time Library Page

The position: Long Hill Township Library is seeking a friendly, hardworking and reliable individual to join our team as a part-time library page.

Duties primarily include returning books to the shelves after they have been read and returned. We are looking for someone who is detail oriented to carefully return items to the shelves in the right place so that other people can find them again. Other tasks may include tidying up in the library and “reading” the shelves to look for misplaced books. Pages may be asked general library questions and should be able to answer with appropriate information and courtesy.

Customer service experience and basic computer skills are required. Pay is hourly at $15.92. Must be able to push book carts and lift books.
