Part-Time Library Assistant – Little Falls Public Library
Position Summary:
The Little Falls Public Library is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Library Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting a variety of essential library services and engaging with our community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patrons in a friendly and helpful manner, answering questions and guiding them to library resources.
- Handle check-ins and check-outs, manage holds, and process overdue materials.
- Technology Support: Provide basic tech help, including assistance with public computers, printing, and accessing digital services.
- Program Support: Help prepare, set up, and clean up for children’s and adult programs, and assist participants during events.
- Assist in the shelving and organization of library material, ensuring that the library is neat and orderly.
- Ability to design promotional materials using Canva, including flyers for library programs, newsletters, and similar content is a plus.

Position Details:
- Part-time: Up to 20 hours per week (flexibility required).
- Required shifts: Monday through Thursday from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with the exception of July and August.
- Compensation: Hourly wage based on experience.
