MAIN is now Main Library Alliance, Marking a New Chapter in the Local Library Partnership’s Evolution

July 12, 2022, Cedar Knolls, NJ: Main Library Alliance is the new name for MAIN (Morris Automated Information Network). The Main Library Alliance is a nonprofit network of local libraries that collaborates and shares services among 49 branches in the area. Since its founding in 1979 as a service for Morris County libraries, Main Library Alliance has expanded into Hunterdon, Somerset, and Warren counties allowing over 650,000 residents of all ages to access over 3.1 million items.
